LSM - The Latvian airline airBaltic - currently in the headlines for all the wrong reasons - will launch a new route between Riga and Stockholm's Bromma airport on September 1, 2015, the company said in a press release Wednesday.

LSM- Altogether 1,122,926 guests stayed at hotels and other accommodations in Riga during the year 2014, a 15.6% increase over 2013. The total number of tourists visiting the city reached 2 million last year, according to information from the Central Statistics Office, compiled by the Riga Tourism Development Bureau.

Last year, Riga’s hotels and other tourist accommodations had been visited by 1,122,926 guests, which is 15.6% more than in 2013. The number of nights spent in Riga has increased by 10% – reaching 1,953,199.
