''airBaltic'' begins flights from Riga to Olbia and Heviz-Balaton

 RIGA, May 4 - From today, Latvian national airline ''airBaltic'' will launch two new routes from Riga to Olbia on the Italian island of Sardinia and from Riga to Heviz-Balaton in Hungary, the airline informed the business information portal ''Nozare.lv''.

''airBaltic'' will fly from Riga to Olbia twice a week in the peak summer season. Passengers will board a Boeing ''737-300'' aircraft for a flight that will last for 3 hours and 10 minutes.

''airBaltic'' will fly from Riga to Heviz-Balaton once a week – on Saturdays. Passengers will board a ''Bombardier Q400 Next Gen'' aircraft for a flight that will last for 2 hours and 25 minutes.

For summer 2013, ''airBaltic'' has introduced six new destinations - Prague (Czech Republic), Heviz-Balaton (Hungary), Olbia (Sardinia, Italy), Rijeka (Croatia), Larnaca (Cyprus), and Malta.

''airBaltic'' currently serves 60 destinations from its home base in Riga.
