Colder weather and some snowfall in the forecast for next week

 RIGA, Nov 24 - Temperatures will become colder during the second half of next week, with snow also in the forecast in eastern regions of the country, LETA was informed by the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center.
Weather conditions will not change much this weekend, with cloudy weather and only a bit of rain in the forecast. Wet snow could fall in eastern regions of the country.
The temperature at night this weekend and the beginning of next week will be from minus one to five degrees Celsius, while the temperature during the day will be from three to nine degrees Celsius.
Wind-speeds will pick up in the second half of next week, with colder temperatures also in the forecast. Temperatures at night will drop between minus one to minus six degrees Celsius. Temperatures at night should remain above zero degrees Celsius in western regions of the country however.
Wet-snow is also in the forecast for the second half of next week, with proper snowfall only expected in eastern regions of the country.
