Baltic International Bank Moscow Representative Office Licence Renewed

In March 2013, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issued a supplement to Bank’s representative office licence. The licence has been renewed for a further three-year period and will be valid until 11 March 2016.

In 2004, Russia’s Central Bank licensed BIB to open its Moscow-based representative office. Over the past nine years, the office actively works towards accomplishing day-to-day tasks that come with running Bank’s business in Russia. Apart from a detailed monitoring of economic and financial developments and the overall situation in Russia’s banking sector, the representative office’s key activities include providing informational, legal and actual support for implementing BIB-initiated projects in the Russian Federation.

Baltic International Bank is a twice-time winner in the Best Private Bank in the CIS and Baltic States category for SPEARS’S Russia Wealth Management Awards (2010, 2011). The high-profile award is given to-best-in-class banks in recognition of their service excellence for high net worth customers.

Established in 1993, Baltic International Bank was in the forefront of the private-banking trend. The Bank has a niche specialization in servicing clients who appreciate our personalized approach, partnership relationships and a superior level of service. According to its strategy, the Bank positions itself as a bank for high net worth individuals (HNWIs), which offers private banking services. Baltic International Bank has official representative offices in London, Moscow and Kyiv.
