Kolegova is confident businessmen will support her as head of SRS

Inga Kolegova, head of State Environmental Service, who has agreed to become a candidate to lead Latvia’s State Revenue Service, is confident that businessmen will support her, as she told journalists after her meeting with the Latvian Employers’ Confederation and Latvian Free Trade Unions Association.

She emphasized that her views align with those of LDDK and LBAS on many subjects. Businessmen were direct, constructive and understanding during the discussion.

Officials discussed matters related to tax administration, possible improvements to the system and crime prevention efforts.

Kolegova also emphasized that SRS will definitely become friendlier towards businessmen.

As it is known, the previously organized personnel selection process ended with no candidates. After the failure to find a good candidate, Kolegova was offered the post.
