Rotation of SRS workers still has not been finished

Rotation of 39 workers of the State Revenue Service in Latvia has yet to be completed. The process originally began at the beginning of May, as reported by LNT.

Acting SRS Director General Dace Peleka mentioned on Wednesday, 27 July, that efforts to switch four workers in their posts turned out unsuccessful. This is because two of them are ill and the other two are still waiting for job offers.

«In relation to these four remaining workers, I am sorry to say there has not been any progress lately, because those who were sick when the process began are still sick. The rotation process of the two workers that are offered jobs outside of SRS is close to completion,» – said Peleka.

33 other SRS workers have been moved to other posts. Two other workers have submitted their resignation. There are also those who are dissatisfied with their new posts. It is possible that other SRS workers may leave their jobs.

None of the workers that have been moved to the Prison Administration have begun working in the new posts. As it is known, the institutions to which it was planned to assign SRS workers under rotation are Interior Affairs Ministry and State Regional Development Agency.
