Duklavs to visit Azerbaijan

RIGA, May 21 - Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs (Greens/Farmers) will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan tomorrow, May 22, as the Agriculture Ministry's representatives informed the "Nozare.lv" business portal.

In Azerbaijan, Duklavs will meet with Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Heydar Asadov. A Latvian-Azerbaijani cooperation agreement in the veterinary field will be signed during the meeting.

Duklavs will attend the international fair "World Food Azerbaijan 2014", where a number of Latvian food producers are participating: "Latvijas piens", "Bauskas alus", "Piejura", "Salas zivis" and "Medijumu iepirkumi".

Duklavs will also participate in a ministerial forum in Baku on food safety.
