Heating to arrive in Riga flats this week

All Riga residential buildings administered by the city council’s SIA Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks can expect to have central heating by the end of the week.

«Over the next few days, it is planned to put on heating in all houses with the centralised heating system, taking into account the technical parameters of the heating systems,» representatives of the firm stated and pledged to switch on heating in 700 residential buildings on Thursday, October 5.

At the same time SIA Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks reminded that flat owners, who have debts for heating services received in previous periods are offered the option to conclude a settlement on a gradual repayment of the debt and divide the sum over even an 18-month-period.

The firm recalled that in the previous years, the heating season in buildings administered by it in the Latvian capital was started approximately in mid-October.
