Tom Jones to perform in Riga this summer

RIGA, Jan 27 - Singer Tom Jones will perform at "Arena Riga" on June 26, concert agency "FBI" representative Kristaps Karklins told LETA.

Jones has been an immensely popular vocalist since the 1960s, he has sold more than 100 million records. He is the author of such hit singles as "It's Not Unusual", "What's New Pussycat", "Delilah", "She's a Lady", "Kiss", "Sex Bomb" and others.

For his services to music, Jones was knighted by British Queen Elizabeth II in 2006. He has wan "Brit Awards", "Hitmaker Award", and "Music Industry Trust Award".

Jones can certainly be considered a living legend, said Karklins. His performances transcend time and genres, and he is popular with all generations.

Tickets to Tom Jones' concert at "Arena Riga" will go on sale this Thursday, January 30, at "www.ticketpro.lv" online store and "Ticketpro" outlets in Riga shopping malls.
