This includes procurement of their produced electrical energy. Our experience in procuring energy from local producers dates back to 2008. This, on the other hand, will be our largest cooperation contract yet. Up until now we have been working with smaller CHP plants, wind parks, owners of small hydroelectric dams and solar panel systems,» – explains Enefit chairman Janis Bethers. «Nevertheless, we always consider all cooperation possibilities with all market participants because we believe the variety of opportunities provided by the market’s infrastructure plays a major role in the development of the entire market. Cooperation with an electricity producer is especially interesting because it allows us to take part in development of different strategies to offer electricity to the market in the most optimal way,» – notes Bethers.
