EUR 1.5 million invested in production of Laima milk chocolate![]() This investment has allowed Laima to launch the production of its brand-new ‘Tagad’ product – milk chocolate bars with eight different flavours. It is planned to expand the current range of ‘Tagad’ products with other milk chocolate products, as reported by the company. «In addition to new machinery, we have also improved the chocolate recipe. It allows us to produce an especially mild milk chocolate, the kind Laima products have not had until now. We hope to increase Laima’s competitiveness in milk chocolate category with our new products,» – emphasizes Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Latvija Chairman Erik Smith-Hansen. «The new ‘Tagad’ line of chocolate products includes classic and completely new favours, including crunchy strawberry and crisp banana. ‘Tagad’ products symbolize youth, the ability to take risks and motivate people to act now – take life as it is now, not live in dreams or thoughts of the past. Package design of ‘Tagad’ products speaks for itself, encouraging people to grab the moment and us opportunities,» – comments Laima brand manager Maija Brukle. At the moment, ‘Tagad’ line of products consists of 90 g chocolate bars with six flavours – classic milk chocolate, milk chocolate with crunchy strawberry, crispy banana , salty caramel, popcorn and chopped hazelnuts.
