Turnover from lotteries and gambling in first half-year grew 11.7% in LatviaRevenue from gambling grew 10.8% in this period, reaching EUR 113.334 million. Revenue from lotteries grew 18.3%, reaching EUR 17.147 million. Data also shows that revenue from gambling machines forms the largest portion for gambling revenue. Total revenue from gambling machines in the first half-year was EUR 91.991 million (7.8% more than last year). Revenue from interactive gambling follows with EUR 12.038 million (EUR 7.652 million from casino games, EUR 4.26 million from race bets and EUR 126,100 from card games), which is a 46.3% increase. Revenue from table games (roulette, cards) was EUR 8.194 million, which is 7.1% more than last year. Revenue from race bets was EUR 971,000, which is 2.8% more than last year. At the same time, the total turnover of lotteries and gambling companies grew 10.9% in the first six months of the 2017, reaching EUR 138.296 million.
