AirBaltic plans to introduce five new destinations this summer season – Aalborg, Dubrovnik, Rhodes, Thessaloniki and Pisa.

As it is known, Wizz Air plans to expand its base in Riga. The airline plans to set up a second aircraft and open up three new destinations – Stavanger, Lübeck and Liverpool.

In total, the summer season in Riga will provide passengers an opportunity to travel to 87 destinations provided by 21 air carriers – airBaltic, Aeroflot, Belavia, Brussels Airlines, Ellinair, Finnair, LOT, Lufthansa, Nesma Airlines, Norwegian, Uzbekistan Airways, Ryanair, Transaero, Turkish Airlines, Turkmenistan Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines, Onur Air, SAS, Swiss International Air Lines, Wizz Air and Smartlynx.

Riga International Airport reminds that March 29th marks the transition to summer time: all clocks will be switched one hour forward. With that, passengers are urged to keep this in mind when planning their travel arrangements.
