''Ventspils'' get second win in FIBA Eurochallenge

 TAMPERE (Finland), Nov 14 - On Tuesday, Latvian basketball club ''Ventspils'' notched its second win in this season's FIBA Eurochallenge tournament by defeating Finnish basketball club Tampere ''Pyrinto'' 89:74.
The highest scorer for the Latvian club was Ronalds Zakis with 20 points, followed by Martins Meiers with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Kenneth Lowe was the highest scorer for ''Pyrinto'' with 31 points.
''Ventspils'' will play its next Eurochallenge group match on November 20 at Swedish basketball club Sodertalje ''Kings''.
As reported, ''Ventspils'' is in Group C in this season's FIBA Eurochallenge tournament together with Swedish basketball club Norrkoping "Dolphins", Swedish basketball club Sodertalje ''Kings'', as well as Finnish basketball club Tampere ''Pyrinto''.
This season's FIBA Eurochallenge is made up of 32 teams divided into eight groups of four.
Each team in each of the groups will play each other twice - once at home and once on the road. The top two teams in each of the groups will advance to the tournament's second group stage.
