Finland's Ketomaa wins Liepaja-Ventspils Rally

 VENTSPILS, Feb 3 - Jari Ketomaa of Finland ("Ford Fiesta RRC") on Sunday won the first FIA European Rally Championship event to take place in Latvia - Liepaja-Ventspils Rally.
Ketomaa's co-driver was Kaj Lindstrom, the former Kimi Raikkonen co-driver.

Irishman Craig Breen ("Peugeot 207") finished in second place, losing 31 seconds to Ketomaa, whereas France's Francois Delecour ("Peugeot 207") finished in third place, two minutes 47.5 seconds behind Ketomaa.

Jan Cerny of the Czech Republic was fourth, 22.3 seconds behind Delecour.

Latvia's best rally driver Raimonds Kisiels and co-driver Arnis Ronis ("Mini JCS RRC") finished in fifth place. Also, Aivis Egle and co-driver Andis Dauga ("Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X") placed seventh.
