Riga ''Dinamo'' lose to ''Amur''

 KHABAROVSK (Russia), Jan 26 - In Kontinental Ice Hockey League (KHL) action on Saturday, Latvian ice hockey club Riga ''Dinamo'' lost to Russian ice hockey club Khabarovsk ''Amur'' 2:4.

This was the fifth loss in a row for the Latvian club. If ''Dinamo'' loses its next game, the club will be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Miks Indrasis and Alexandre Giroux scored the goals for ''Dinamo''.

The Latvian club will play its next game on Monday against Russian ice hockey club Novokuznetsk ''Metallurg''.

Riga "Dinamo" is currently in 13th place in the KHL's Western Conference with 46 points from 47 games, 14 points behind the conference's eighth placed team (only the top eight teams in each of the two conferences qualify for the KHL playoffs). On the other hand, ''Amur'' is in 11th place in the Eastern Conference with 44 points.
