Ellie Goulding to perform at this year's ''Positivus'' festival

British pop-singer Ellie Goulding will also be performing at this year's ''Positivus'' music festival, LETA was informed by the festival's spokeswoman Linda Igolniece.

The singer recently won the ''Female solo artist of the Year'' nomination at the annual ''BRIT Awards''.

As Igolniece points out, Goulding’s performance is amongst the most anticipated ''Positivus Festival'' appearances in a line-up filled with the ruling chart toppers. Goulding is currently one of the hottest concert and festival artists in Europe, having performed at Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding in Buckingham Palace, the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo as well as at the National Christmas Tree Lighting at the White House in Washington DC.

Goulding’s album ''Halycon Days'' was a long-time UK chart No.1 as well as a global chart leader. The album features hits like ''Burn'', ''Anything Could Happen'', ''Explosions'', as well as Goulding’s collaborative single with Calvin Harris - ''I Need Your Love''.

Goulding also collaborated with the prominent US dub-step star and once-boyfriend ''Skrillex'', who, amongst several other recordings also produced her track ''Bittersweet for Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2'' soundtrack. Goulding’s song ''Mirror'' is also featured on ''The Hunger Games'' soundtrack.

This year’s ''Positivus'' festival will feature such headliners as ''Kraftwerk'', Ellie Goulding, ''The Kooks'', ''Bastille'', Laura Mvula, ''Daughter'', ''of Montreal'', ''The 1975'', ''Birth Of Joy'' and ''Kid Karate'' and many more.

The 2014 ''Positivus'' festival will last three days - July 18, 19 and 20 in the Latvian coastal town of Salacgriva.
