Number of passengers carried by airBaltic grows 12%
In total, airBaltic has carried 588,768 passengers in the first three months of 2017.
The airline carried out 3,667 flights in March, which is 14% more when compared with the same period of last year, when airBaltic performed 3,230 flights. In total, airBaltic performed 10,160 flights in the first three months of 2017.
Passenger load factor in March 2017 was 68%, which is four percentage points below the index of the same period of last year. Overall passenger load factor in airBaltic planes was 66% in the first three months of 2017.
The airline’s 15 minute punctuality index reached 92.3% in March. This means that 92 out of 100 airBaltic flights departed on time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes in March, airBaltic reports.
In this year’s summer season, airBaltic added 12 new destinations to its map, including Madrid, Geneva, Aberdeen, Tempera, Stavanger, Gothenburg, Kazan, Catania and Liepaja.
